In 1871 El Nasional took over El Jurnal Israelit. The first ever executive
was Marko Mayorkas after his time Isak Gabay got in charge who was also an
editor for the newspaper. In 1872 the newspaper changed its name to El
Telegraf and in 1878 it changed it to El Telegrafo.
In the heading of El Telegrafo it mentions its foundation
1860 when El jurnal Israelit was published.
The newspaper names its self as 'Diario Nasional Politico y
litrar'(political,Literary,National newspaper)
It was released on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. From 23 august 1908 the
newspaper started to add ottoman words beneath the title.
The Journals are gathered in as a book.
